Hillsboro Manhunt: Police Identify “Armed and Dangerous” Suspect

Hillsboro Police Department (HPD) has identified the man suspected of shooting and killing a man on Thursday. The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Jose Luis Delatorre, is considered armed and dangerous.
HPD urges the public to report any sightings of Delatorre or information regarding his whereabouts. He is described as 5'9" tall, approximately 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The victim of the shooting has been identified as 45-year-old John Smith.
Incident Details
On Thursday, May 12th, 2023, at approximately 8:30 PM, HPD responded to a report of shots fired in the 200 block of Main Street in Hillsboro, Oregon. Upon arrival, officers discovered Smith deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.
Witnesses reported seeing Delatorre fleeing the scene in a black sedan.
