A Rich History
Palestinians in Chile Arabic فلسطينيو تشيلي, also known as Chilean Palestinians, form one of the largest Palestinian communities outside the Arab world. Their presence in Chile dates back to the late 19th century when the first wave of Arab immigrants arrived. By the early 20th century, a significant Palestinian community had established itself in Chile, mainly in the capital city of Santiago and the northern mining region of Antofagasta.
